For some reason people get to this page thinking this is a bridge pin for the guitar strings. This is an end pin that goes in the body of the guitar - not a bridge pin. Our bridge pins can be found on our bridge pin page.

These pins are made in our Dover, Ohio pin shop from fossil walrus jawbone. This 5 degree end pin has a diameter of .315" (8 mm) at the top of the tapered shaft. This fits most guitars including Martin. It is exceedingly seldom this size does not fit any guitar.

4 mm padauk wood dot inlay.

This is among the densest of all the fossil materials and is as tough as nails - this is a very strong material. FWB is usually an almond or tan color with dark mineral speckles, small pores and natural micro-chips. This material is thousands of years old and yields the look of antiqued-stressed pins with age and character. Many customers prefer these pins to be made without an inlay because the material is so unique and pretty.
