Ancient fossil mammoth ivory nut blank to fit Gibson®, Taylor® and other style guitars, mandolins, basses and banjos where a nut that is slightly smaller than 1/4" thick is required.

.225" X .440" X 2.0" (5.7 mm X 11.1 mm X 51 mm). May have rounded top corner areas. This is done to orient the piece in relation to its grain so the artisan knows which long edge is the top.If your piece is not rounded it means either long edge can be the top or bottom.
