Q4™ Hunter Orange Advanced Resin
This material has been tested by top craftsmen who have been very impressed with this new material. This is not the Resin Ivory we have sold for years. We realized that our resin material needed to be improved and after a good deal of work we have this new and much improved high density resin. This is 25% more dense than our old resin and it is much stronger and tougher. Our Resin Ivory material has a density of 1.2g /cm3 whereas Q4 has a density of 1.6g/cm3.
A) New color - this is a brilliant Hunter Orange with no grain.
B) Machines beautifully for any part needed and accepts all common finishes used in the trade including buffing.
C) Glues very well with quality epoxy. West System epoxy was used in the initial testing and it bonded very well. There are no bonding issues.
Available in 16mm (5/8"+ ), 26mm (1") and 34mm (1.35") diameters. Also available in blocks and slabs for knife making and gun grip making,
