1.34" Diameter X 6.5" Ebonite Pipe Blanks
34mm (1.34") diameter Ebonite. This is larger in diameter than 1 1/4" and smaller than 1 3/8". Excellent for game call bells, smoking pipe parts and cue stick butts.
Ebonite is a modern polymer made from an extremely dense rubber. Ebonite is what bowling balls are made from.
This unique turning material is made in Germany - this is the high quality Ebonite. Ebonite from the Orient is not of this quality. We have it in black as well as rods with multiple colors. All Ebonite takes a high polish by buffing and it also accepts a clear coat finish.
Do not let the idea that it is a type of rubber fool you. This turns, works and polishes like a dense wood, bone or acrylic. It turns very well and holds sharp lines and it has strength. This is what saxophone mouthpieces and bowling balls are made from - this is tough stuff.
