Casein is a plastic that is made from cow's milk. Originally developed nearly a century ago it is still in use today and available here in slab form for knife makers and other artisans.

This material, once worked and polished has a fine grain that looks like real ivory. The color is off white, again, like real ivory. Available in two thicknesses.
