Our Select Mongolian hair is our highest grade of bow hair. Bowworks has been offering this high grade stock for 3 decades and it has earned a valid reputation in the trade as being the finest hair available. We have established a solid following of this quality hair.
Our black hair is also Select Mongolian grade. The low price of the black is not a factor of its quality but rather black horse hair is more commonly seen in nature and so the price is low because it is readily available. Black hair is sought after for Bass and some for Violin and Cello.
