Fossil Mammoth BONE Guitar Saddles

Mammoth BONE Guitar Saddles are made from the femur bone of an ancient wooly mammoth.

This material is very dense and has few pores. With greater density and less porosity than regular cow and camel bone this material renders incredible acoustical properties rivaling the sound provided by elephant ivory from back in the day when that material was known to have the clearest and brightest sound for guitar nuts and saddles.

It is a rare material to find in a state of preservation that renders it excellent for guitar parts. It is worked with conventional tools just like regular bone is - with saws, files and sandpaper.

Legal to sell and ship anywhere on the planet except to Hawaii and Nevada.
