Bass Bronze Eyelets

Bass Bronze Eyelets in metric thread as well as unthreaded.

When reading the descriptions in our product offerings the shank diameter refers to the size of the stem of brass that one fits into the frog body. When an eyelet is not fitting tight in the frog body from years of use (wood threads are stripped) then folks usually upgrade the eyelet to the larger stem for added grip.

The metric thread refers to the thread in the hole that the standard metric screw goes into.

The unthreaded eyelets simply have no threads in the hole. These are for makers who are tapping their own eyelets to their desired thread.

Bronze is much stronger and more corrosion resistant than brass. Also, bronze is harder and more abrasion resistant than brass.
