Bowworks™ Thread Screw Blank Sets (extra long blanks).
Half threaded, half unthreaded, total length 80mm (3.15"). These are precisely machined Bowworks™ proprietary traveling thread screws with their bronze eyelets and are extra long stainless steel blanks.
Each screw is long enough for violin, viola or cello. Available in 3 mm and 3.3 mm screw diameters. These are round for the full length of the blank - the end has not been squared off where it fits into the button.
Bronze is much stronger and more corrosion resistant than brass. Also, bronze is harder and more abrasion resistant than brass. Linked with stainless steel screws, these screw sets will last many years.
Allows one to control the length and position of the threads as well as the length of the pilot and tang.
